St. Cecilia has been present in New Zealand for the past ten years. The tremendous growth throughout the country reflects our on-going commitment to provide New Zealand music students and teachers with the most relevant, up-to-date and exciting examination and teaching system available.

There are up to four guaranteed examination periods each year throughout New Zealand – May /June, August/September, November and December. Examinations can be arranged outside these periods should there be sufficient candidate numbers.

New Zealand examination centres include:

Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, Morrinsville, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Tauranga, Dunedin, Balclutha, Invercargill, Te Anau, Christchurch, Rotorua, Wanganui and Ashburton.

New centres will continue to be opened throughout 2011 in New Zealand as well as in other parts of the world. Where possible, examinations are conducted in the familiar environment of the teacher’s own music studio, but central locations are also available when requested.
